Broadway Bound Kids relies on the generosity of our many individual and foundation donors as we strive to provide equitable access to the arts for all youth.

While fees for classes cover some of the cost for our programs, additional support is needed to subsidize classes in Title-1 schools for young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to explore, create, and thrive through the performing arts.

Donate from Your IRA

If you are age 72 or older, IRS rules require you to take minimum distributions (RMDs) each year from your tax-deferred retirement accounts. Amounts distributed as a direct transfer of funds to a qualified nonprofit such as LALDEF will be counted toward satisfying your RMD for the year and allow you to save on your taxable income!

Make a Donation of Stock

Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds directly to BBK. Compared with donating cash or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you can increase your gift as well as your tax deduction. The most convenient way to make a gift of stock is through electronic transfer to our account with Vanguard. For more information, please contact Lizzie McGuire at lizzie@broadwayboundkids.org
