Broadway Bound Kids FALL Semester 2026

Welcome to Broadway Bound Kids! Broadway Bound Kids is a nonprofit providing a transformative and inclusive environment that inspires youth through performing arts education.  We provide comprehensive interactive programs for Pre-K through 12th Grade in the performing arts that focus on enhancing technical skills, social emotional learning, confidence, connection, mindfulness, and creativity. Inclusion and access are central to our programming and organizational culture as we work to break down societal and financial barriers for youth, their families, and their communities. We cultivate communities of open hearts and minds amongst a diverse cross section of youth in New York City and beyond by enabling every student to explore all they can be, on stage and off.

After School Coordination also requires access to the PS6 building, facilities, security, and custodianship; nursing coverage until 4PM; and ongoing facilitation and coordination across functions easily seen (like late pick-up on days when you need it) and back-office, no-spotlight work (like paying out city permits).  This year, for transparency, programs have the opportunity to show the split between this cost and the base programming costs.  It's not a new cost; it's a visibility that we are happy to share with our community.

Registration opens June 2nd!

Children participating in dance or drama activities in a studio or classroom setting.

Mondays: Tap/Ballet (K-1)

This mashup class teaches two classic styles of dance. Students will experience the discipline of ballet, building strength and control, as well as the exciting rhythm and energy of tap! Teaching Artists then guide students to create Ensemble Agreements, which frame how the group develops parameters. Dancers will always do a full body warm-up, including skill building and across the floor. Dance themed games will be played every week, changing frequently to keep students on their toes. Throughout the semester students will learn choreography in both genres of dance. At the end of the semester, there will be an invited open class where we share all we have learned about these exciting dance styles. *Dancers do not need to wear ballet or tap shoes to practice with us!
