Broadway Bound Players Presents Shrek Jr.

Broadway Bound Players is a tuition free 9-month program for NYC middle schoolers who are underserved in the arts.

BBP students have been building on foundational music, dance and acting techniques all year. In the fall, they performed a musical revue which they helped create. Building on that experience, they began their musical rehearsal process in January. Now, we are proud to present Shrek Jr.!

Broadway Bound Benefit: Raise Your Voice!

Thank you for attending…
Broadway Bound Benefit: Raise Your Voice!
at City Winery

The evening featured BBK Students and Teaching Artists alongside exciting Broadway Guest Stars: Major Attaway, George Abud, Donnie Kehr, Apollo Levine, N’Kenge, and Morgan Reilly, in an unforgettable concert of song and dance that exuded EMPOWERMENT, calling in all to raise our voices for arts education.

BBK was delighted to honor Josh Groban and his Find Your Light Foundation with the first inaugural Broadway Bound Legacy Award for their continuous support of BBK of over four years.

Arts education matters now more than ever. The night culminated with an announcement that BBK had raised over $43,000. All proceeds go towards Broadway Bound Kids’ free non-profit programs, dedicated to providing access to the arts for ALL students.

BBK serves over 1,650 students across all five boroughs, including our Free Community Theater Ensembles, which provide 100% tuition-free access to the arts for middle and high school students. The Raise Your Voice concert is essential for us to continue our work and reach even more students in under-resourced communities.
