FALL SEMESTER 2026

Welcome to Broadway Bound Kids! BBK is a nonprofit providing a transformative and inclusive environment that inspires youth through performing arts education.  We provide comprehensive, interactive performing arts programs for Pre-K through 12th Grade; our programming focuses on enhancing technical skills, social emotional learning, confidence, connection, mindfulness, and creativity. Inclusion and access are central to our ethos and organizational culture as we work to break down societal and financial barriers for youth, their families, and their communities. We cultivate communities of open hearts and minds amongst a diverse cross-section of youth in New York City and beyond by enabling every student to explore all they can be, on stage and off.

Mondays

Monday Hip-Hop
(5th-8th) 2:30 - 3:30pm
(K-4th) 3:35 - 4:45pm

Get ready to pop, lock, move, and groove in this high-energy Hip Hop class! Hip Hop dance originated on the streets of NYC, and our young New Yorkers will explore how this genre incorporates elements of jazz, tap, swing, and most importantly, improvisation. This class emphasizes development of coordination, understanding of complex rhythms, and confidence in self-expression -- with AWESOME music along the way! BBK Classes begin with a mindful check in to build community and trust. Teaching Artists then guide students to create Ensemble Agreements, which frame how the group develops parameters. Dancers will always do a full body warm-up, including skill building and across the floor. Dance themed games will be played every week, changing frequently to keep students on their toes. Our Teaching Artists will work with students to build fun but challenging choreography sequences, master specific hip hop skills, and bring joyful energy to the dance floor. At the end of the semester, there will be an invited open class where we share all we have learned about hip-hop.

Sharpen your skills and shine as a performer. It’s more than a class, it’s a company!

Drama Club Company is a dynamic, ensemble-driven training ground for elementary/middle school students ready to take their performance skills to the next level. With a focus on technique, movement, and storytelling, students refine their craft while working collaboratively toward a performance with music. All BBK classes begin with a mindful check-in to build community and trust. Teaching Artists then guide students to create Ensemble Agreements, which set the tone for the classroom environment and expectations. Performers will always do a full body/vocal warm-up, including skill building, and music, dance and theater literacy. Community building themed games will be played every week, changing frequently and aligned with the learning outcomes of the week. In the Fall, they’ll present a Revue featuring selections across styles and eras from Singin’ In the Rain to & Juliet. At the end of the semester, there will be an invited open class where we share our revue. This company will create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering community on and off the stage.
